오랜만에 고등학교 친구들과 급번개 ♥︎ 

타이음식을 먹자고 한 친구가 제안을 해서 우리 모두 안국역에서 모였다. 생각해보니 ㅋㅋㅋ 추석연휴 전날ㅋㅋㅋ 정말 그날은 만나야 하는 날이었나보다. 

i got to have dinner plan with high school friends. It was sudden but very excited and happy to see them :))) One of the friends suggested Thai food and sent some reviews. So we gathered at Ankuk station. lol, thinking back, it was the day before Chusuk holiday.

북촌에 있는 타이맛집으로 유명한 "화양연화" 이름은 뭔가 홍콩느낌이 드는건 나뿐인가...

Famous Bukchon Thai restaurant, Hwayangyeonhwa. But it sounds like hongkong restaurant.

 

가게가 크지 않은데 참 이쁘고 특색있게 잘 꾸며놨다. 그치만 계단에서부터 나는 맛있는 냄새에 사진은 그냥 대충찍고 공격적인 발걸음으로 돌진!!

It is not big place but well decorated. once i smelled the food from downstairs i stopped taking pictures and ran into the restaurant.

while waiting for the table for three, we already chose the menu! excited!!

 

웨이팅석 바로 옆이 오픈키친. 아 냄새 너무 괴로워. 그냥 웨이팅석에서 먹고싶다ㅜㅜ 2인석에서 무릎에 앉아서라도 먹고싶은 냄새ㅜㅜ 가게가 크지 않다보니 큰 인원이 오면 웨이팅이 길수도. 절대 두자리에 셋이상 앉히지 않는다... 두명이서 오면 오래 기다리지 않을 듯!

There is open kitchen right next to the waiting seats. The super great smell made us hard to wait.. we just wanted to eat at the waiting table or at table for two. i think you gonna have to wait for a while if big group. They have the strict rule, never giving tables until enough seats are ready for the number. If you are only two, waiting wouldn't be too long.

드디어 자리가 나서 앉았다!! 앉자마자 주문하고 금방 나온 음식 *_* 냄새 환상

Finally!!! had a seat. we ordered right away and food were served quite quickly. smell!!!

볶음밥 Fried rice

일단 나오자마자 사진부터 빨리 찍고 허겁지겁 반은 먹어버렸다 ㅋㅋㅋ 

간이 쎄서 맨밥을 더 비벼먹어도 될 것 같았지만 수저를 놓을 수 없게 맛있었다. 내스타일!!

Once we got the food, we took quick picture and rushed to eat.

Taste was quite strong and a bit salty but very delicious!!! my style.

가지튀김 Fried eggplant

대박. 가지가 이런 음식이었나 싶게 맛있었다!! 그치만 너무 적은 양에 비해 비싼 가격 ㅜㅜ 

그래도 다음번에 가면 또 시켜먹을테다!!!

Awesome. i didn't know eggplant can be this much delicious!!! but quite expensive considering the amount... but will eat this one again if i visit again.

팟타이 Phat Thai

이것도 맛있다. 역시 내사랑 팟타이!

쌀국수도 먹고 싶었지만 재료가 다 떨어졌다고 못먹었다. 친구가 나중에 먹으러 갔는데, 쌀국수는 그냥 평범한 쌀국수 맛이었고. 우리가 먹은게 맛있어서 뭔가 특별할거라 기대했는데 ㅋㅋㅋ 아쉽다. 

Delicious! not too strong taste, so i liked it more. 

We wanted to try rice noodle but they ran out of it. So other friend tried next time and commented it was not that special than we thought and expected. Maybe the delicious food increased our expectation too high. lol. 

간이 좀 쎈편. 그래도 맛있다.  타이푸드를 좋아하는 나는 계속 앓이 하는 중. 

시간내서 꼭 다시 가고싶다!!!

Seasoning was quite strong but still delicious. I like Thai food and this place is very satisfying. definitely revisiting this place!!!

신나게 먹으며 수다떨고 카페로 자리를 옮겨서 수다떨고 그러다 갑자기 친구가 자기네 집에 가자고 해서 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 급 파자마파티

좋은 친구들과 함께하는 맛있는 음식은 늘 행복하다 ♥︎

We talked and ate and talked. We moved to a cafe and talked again. lol
then one of the friend suggested pajama party at her house. lol
Such a great time with great friends and great food. always happy!
