Jeju Island Trip #1

MABANG MOKJI & SARYEONI FOREST PATH 

When i took a break last April, i went to Jeju island with my mom and sister. I wished my father could have joined us but he couldn't take holiday off. So it was girls' trip. i had such a great time. so much fun. 

I didn't have enough time to prepare for the trip but my sister had been to Jeju island with her friends for college graduation trip. So she was our tour guide. 

We visited Mabang Mokji which is the pasture jeju horses out at. It is free but you can see the horses only from April to October since they are moved for protection from cold weather. We were lucky to see the horses there. We were heading to different place but it was on the way and not many people were there. So we took enough time to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful scene.

Jeju island is famous for horse, Haenyeo who is female diver and stone. As i know there are not many places that can raise horses in korea and Jeju is one of them and biggest one. I should have searched for horse riding activity before i came to jeju. I regretted!

Wide open green pasture and running horses and beautiful sunlight made a great scene. No doubt we took many pictures haha.

After short sightseeing Mabang Mokji, we headed to Saryeoni path which leads to Saryeoni Oreum. This is very famous and well known for the beautiful scene made from trees at the both sides of path. 

We really enjoyed the drive and then parked the car at the side. We took a walk for a while, enjoying the fresh air and quite moment in the nature. I loved it.

I want to strongly recommend these two places in Jeju. These days Jeju island is very popular to Koreans and i want to visit again too!
