Compact Japanese restaurant at Gwanghwamoon 광화문 일식 맛집

언니가 세종문화회관에 공연을 보러 가는데 근처 밥먹을 곳을 찾다가 알게된 맛집이 있다. 

언니가 보내온 사진을 보고 나도 홀딱 넘어가서 늘 가보려고 벼르고 있었다. 친구가 오랜만에 일이 일찍 끝난다고 회사 근처로 와서 이곳을 한번 가보기로 했다!! 드디어!!

My sister went to Gwanghwamoon for classic music concert. She looked for good food restaurant around the area and got to know this place, Xeishune. i fell for the pictures she sent... so i was looking forward to visiting this place soonest. Then one day, my friend was off work early and came to my workplace to have dinner. yeah! finally!! 

 

위치는 세종문화회관 뒷편에 있는 로얄빌딩 지하1층, 아주 작은 가게 "세이슌"
테이블이 겨우 네개 정도? 일인 바 자리까지 세도 엄청 작다. 그래서 그런지 밖에 대기하는 줄도 길고 테이블회전도 빠르다. 포장도 많다.

The location is first basement level of Royal building right behind the Sejong Center of the Performing Arts. It is very compact place. i counted only four tables and small bar table only for two people in front of the kitchen. So there was long line in front of the restaurant and people ordered to go food a lot as well.

메뉴 Menu

가게 앞에 대기자를 위한 의자와 메뉴판이 있다. 제일 유명한 메뉴도 안내하고 있으니 기다리는 동안 미리 주문해놓고 있다가 자리에 앉으면 금방 음식이 나온다. 

There are couple of chairs and menu for waiting people in front of the restaurant. Also best selling menu is also posted. While we were waiting in the line, we already chose menu and ordered. Once we had seats, the food came out right away. 

안에 인테리어 소품들이 모두 아기자기하고 귀엽다. 일본느낌이 물씬~ 깍두기 김치가 맛있다. All the interior pieces are small and cute. Radish kimchi was also really delicious.  

우리는 가장 유명한 추천메뉴인 사케돈부리와 에비동 새우2마리에 치즈사리 추가!! 
We ordered best selling menu, Sake donburi and Ebidong with 2 shrimps and extra cheese.

새우도 튼실하고 고기도 두툼한게 정말 맛있었다! 치즈까지 어우러져 짭쪼름하기도 하고. 밥에 양념도 잘 되있다 ㅋㅋ 조금 느끼할때면 먹는 깍두기까지 너무 잘 어울린다. 여기에 볶은김치 사리를 추가하는 것도 유명하다고 하는데 이해가 간다. 아무튼 유명한건 이유가 있었어 

사케돈부리 Sake donburi

연어가 연어가!! 도톰하고 정말 곱고 정말 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ밥이랑 안먹고 다 집어먹을뻔!!! 막 수다를 떨다가 음식 나오자마자 말없이 카메라세례를 펼치고 ㅋㅋ 또 말없이 음식 초토화 ㅋㅋㅋ

밥은 모자라면 더 준다고 하니 간이 세다고 느끼시는 분이나 양이 모자라면 더 달라고 하시길.

If you want more, they give you more rice and soup. So don't worry if you think its not enough.

진짜 순식간에 밥을 다 먹어버렸다 ㅋㅋㅋ

입에서 씹고 그냥 바로 위로 넘어 간 것 마냥 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 정신없이 먹었나보다. 맛있었기에 가능! 처음에 딱 음식이 나왔을때는 너무 양이 적지않나 했는데 여자들이 먹기에는 딱인 것 같다. 너무 깨끗하게 먹어놓고 이런말 하니 조금... 민망ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Clear.... 

엄청나게 부른 배를 끌고 커피마시러 경복궁역으로 걸어갔다. 예전부터 지나가면서 많이 본 한옥카페. 

after having nice dinner, we walked to Gyeongbokgoong station. My friend wanted to visit Korean traditional building style cafe right next to the station. 

커피류는 타 프랜차이즈들과 비슷한 가격대이고 안에 깨끗하고 넓은 화장실이 있어 좋다. 외관에 비해 안에 공간은 굉장히 작은 것 같다. 테라스가 참 좋아보이는데 날씨가 얼른 좋아지길. 미세먼지도 없어지고!

Price range is quite similar to other franchise cafe. It has clean and neat restroom inside. Comparing to the outside, inside space seemed quite small.

맛있는 저녁을 배부르게 먹고 커피 마시며 친구와 여행계획을 짜고 있자니 천국이 따로 없다♥︎

Having delicious dinner and coffee with my dear friend and making traveling plans made my day!

태국친구가 놀러와서 뭘 먹을까 고민하다가 사진을 보내줬다. 친구가 고른게 바로 세이슌! 그래서 나는 이번에 다른 메뉴를 시도해봤다. 

I had dinner plan with my friend from thailand. I was worried about where to go and what to eat. So i let her decide, sending pictures. She chose this place. So i tried different menu this time. 

함박스테이크&숙주! Hamburg steak&bean sprout!

베스트셀링 메뉴 중 하나인 함박스테이크는 조합이 여러가지인듯. 숙주의 아삭한 식감이 좋아서 감자튀김 대신 숙주로.

This one is also one of the best selling menu. It has lots of combination such as hamburg steak with potato chip or green bean sprout and so on. I chose beab sprout due to the texture. 

고기도 두툼하고 양념도 찐하고. 

밥 조오그음만 더 달라고 해서 싹싹 다 먹었... 개인적으로 함박스테이크 자체를 그닥 좋아하진 않지만 먹을만 한거보니 다른 사람들은 좋아할 듯 하다.

Meat was thick and sauce was deep and rich. I asked a bit more of rice... And ate the steak all.. Lol even though i dont like hamburg steak itself that much, it was delicious.
