Busan 2015 #2 Kkangtong market

BUSAN 2015 #2 KKANGTONG MARKET
street food in Korean traditional market

These days, lots of young people enjoy traditional things as well. Old traditional market gets lots of attentions and fame as new date course as well as family outing. It has distingtive mood that this modern society cannot create. It might look a bit dirty, untidy, disorganized and so on. But the imperfection loosens people more i think. Most of the sellers in the market are quite old people, they treat customers like their children, it can feel close or rude sometimes. But i think it depends on how you think. Average price is quite cheap, cheaper than big mart.

In Busan, there are a few famous traditional markets. We visited Kkangtong market which recently became much more famous due to television show searching for top 3 best food places. One of the most famous korean snack, Ddeokbbokgi 떡볶이, stir-fried rice cake place was broadcasted in the show. Actually, we also went there to try. the narrow little path in the market was full of people.

Sadly, the place was closed when we visited. So we came all the way back and stopped by other place in the corner.

Busan Ddeokbbokgi was a bit different from what i used to eat, well seoul style. the rice cake is bigger and longer but much softer. And much bigger fish cake along with. My friend and i ate this standing surrounded by people.

We couldnt take a look around due to too many people. We joined big wave of people getting out. I felt like escaping from war... Such chaos... Chose the wrong date to go out! Definitely not again!

We decided to take another course to the subway station since we were in the middle, which was terrible call. Lol
We stuck in the overflowed street. When we finally escaped from the crowd, we were so exhausted. We headed straight to my friend's house.
