TAMARA DE LEMPICKA 타마라렘피카

Thanks to my cousin and her husband, i got the ticket for exhibition.

Though I know nothing about art, i just like it. So trying to visit as much as possible.

Luckily i have a few friends who are like me and quite good gallery mate to me.

사촌언니와 형부 덕에 오랜만에 전시회를 가게 되었다. 

예술 하나도 모르지만 그냥 좋아해서 기회가 되면 가능한 전시회나 가려고 한다.

나랑 비슷한 친구가 몇 있어 항상 같이 즐기는 메이트가 되어주어 좋다. 역시 이번에도 함께!

 

"TAMARA DE LEMPICKA" exhibition at Seoul Art Center.

The name sounded quite familiar but didn't know. but this is the chance to learn something.

Her masterpiece 'My Portrait, Self-Portrait in the Green Bugatti', I have seen it before and liked her style. I had a feeling that this exhibition is going to be great and my style. 

예술의 전당에서 열린 "타마라렘피카"전.

이름은 낯익지만 사실 잘 모르는 작가. 뭐 내가 아는 작가가 있겠냐만은.

또 모르는 작가를 알아가는 좋은 계기가 되지 않겠나 :)) 

대표작인 "녹색 부가티를 탄 타마라"을 보니 많이 본 작품! 내가 좋아할 것 같아서 기대 됬다.

I love to collect postcard with art works, which refreshes me in different mood.
But this time, Tamara's postcards were too big and in low quality of print. And expensive.. so little collections, which was a shame.

전시회를 다녀온 뒤 맘에 든 작품을 엽서로 간직하는 게 또다른 즐거움!
하지만 아쉬웠던건 엽서가 규격사이즈보다 너무 크고 화질이 별로 안좋았다는거...
가격은 좀 쎘는데 질이 못 따라줬다. 작품 구성도 많지 않아서 아쉬웠다.

Photo shoot was banned inside but they made photo zone like this, which could be good promotion for SNS people. There was follower on the ground too.

전시회 내부에서 사진촬영은 금지이지만, 바깥에 포토존을 만들어 놓았다.
사실 바닥에 꽃그림도 있지만, 찍기 귀찮아서... ㅋㅋㅋ
기념으로 사람들이 사진 찍어 올린걸 많이 보았다. 홍보 은근하게 잘했다 ㅋㅋ

 

I very much like her bold and confident touch and colorful painting.
It just reminded me of Picasso exhibition held here before which i was looking forward a lot. But there were bunch of his early stage drawing without his well know colorful painting. Many people were disappointed. But this Tamara exhibition, i liked and enjoyed a lot.
Next time, i will join the docent program or at least rent audio guide.

대범하고 과감한 터치도 좋고, 칼라풀한 자신있는 그림체가 마음에 들었다.
전에 피카소전을 한다고 해서 엄청 기대하고 갔는데, 드로잉만 잔뜩 가져다 놓고 색체있는 작품은 거의 없어서 실망했던 기억이 났다. 타마라는 간만에 재미있게 감상한 전시!
다음에는 꼭 도슨트 시간에 맞추거나 오디오 대여를 해야지ㅜㅜ
