When i took a day off, we went to Paju for a drive and nice food. My sister's friend who have lived at Paju recommended a few places. This was chosen as our dinner place. Because we can enjoy two different food, the meat Galbi and noodle Kalguksu at one place.

Even though it was week day and the long distance from the downtown, there were quite a few people.

Haemul Kalguksu 

Haemul means seafood. This place has a bit different way to eat the noodle. 

First, they serve pot of seafood. shellfishes, squid and so on. 

Once it boils up, take some seafood out and eat first. While the seafood is boiling, the soup gets more delicious and deeper.


And if you feel like you had enough seafood, and want to eat noodle, then you put noodles in the soup.

but remember to put the noodle when the seafood broth boils. 

 

The more amazing thing is! this one. after eating all meat, galbi you can ask the restaurant to cook spicy steamed galbi. If you don't ask, they don't make it for you. You should ask. so don't forget to leave out some galbi bones for this last course!

We were so happy to enjoy actually three different meal all at once together. We called my sister's friend to join us after work. So much fun.
But i think it's quite hard to visit, with public transportation and far location. but if you have a plan near Paju, have a visit :))
