Small local cafe nearby Yeonsinnae subway station of line no.3.
My friends and i were walking down the street after dinner at Yeonsinnae. Then, one of my friend saw this cafe and told us that she's been there before and the cafe was good.
I like cafe, more like sponge cake type. And it's very hard to find good local cafe these days since the big companies jump into the coffee industry and with big capital, they almost monopolize the market. The much bigger place and coupon service that works every branch, it is so hard to survive in coffee market in korea. if it is not unique, you can't survive any more since there are cafes everywhere, at every corner.
Chestnut cake
Without much sugar, it is sweet enough thanks to the chestnut itself. It will be great dessert for old people as well because i thought my father when i had it.
The decoration was so pretty and the chocolate was great as well.
I dont like chocolate that much. Very picky about sweet dessert because i don't like sweet or salty food but this place has great chocolate cake satisfying me!
And the coffee here matches perfect with it!
There was strawberry cake on sale and i bought it for my sister's birthday. My family enjoyed it. I want to take out chocola next time and let my family taste! Especially my sister would love it.
The owner runs this little place with his wife but i could tell they are using good ingredients and feel their pride and love for the their work. All the cafe interior and their menu are unique, it has identity. i think i will revisit here if i want chocolate or cake.
