POCHA : food cart at Yeonsinnae station

POJANGMACHA 포장마차

Noodle # night street food in Korea

We call food cart in the street "Pojangmacha" in Korea. Pocha is more common. People usually drink korean alcohol, Soju and eat bar snacks. Or like me, just enjoy Pocha noodle. Pocha opens at the evening.

I usually find Pocha with my friend after work finishes late. And we always order Kalguksu, noodle at Yeonsinnae station. We dont have specific place since we visit early and not all places open that time.

Once the order is submit, the cooking starts from cutting the noodle and boiling.

I think i eat this at least once a week these days with my pocha mate♥︎ Always ask spicy pepper to put in. My foreign friend wanted to try when she traveled korea since she saw actors eating at Pocha in Korean drama. But definitely Pocha is not sanitary at all. So heads up. But it has its own sentiment and culture not just cheap price. So if you want to try, i think it can be fun experience. :))
